Serving as a Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from 1951 to 1955 and later as a Member of the Provincial Assembly of West Pakistan from 1956 to 1958, he played a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape of the region. He embarked on a journey to transform farming methods and established Agriman Model Farms, a name that would soon become synonymous with excellence.
